Mount Seerah Interactive Islamic Learning for the Next Generation
We built a gamified web platform that turns Islamic education into an interactive adventure—designed to help kids and teens connect with the Seerah (life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) in a way that’s fun, engaging, and meaningful.
The Problem
Most Islamic education platforms are too static—especially for younger audiences.
They’re built around reading and memorizing, but today’s kids are growing up on fast-paced games, YouTube, and TikTok.
It was clear: if we wanted the Seerah to resonate, we needed to make learning feel like discovery, not homework.
The Solution
We created Mount Seerah, a story-based quiz game where every trail leads deeper into the Seerah—while keeping kids curious and engaged.
The platform includes:
Adventure-style quiz trails that unlock key moments in the Prophet’s life
XP, rewards, and leaderboards to keep motivation high
Gamified progress paths that help build long-term learning habits
Each trail is designed to feel like a journey, not just a lesson.

What We Built
Trail-based quiz builder
Admin panel with a custom quiz editor
XP and level system for learners
Leaderboard and streak tracking
Downloadables section for offline learning
Progress dashboard for schools or parents
Tech Stack
We’re leaning toward a Vue or React frontend, Node.js backend, WebGL animations for the trail map, and a headless CMS for content management.

Timeline
Week 1–2: Shaped the learning concept, mapped the story arcs, designed the game loop
Week 3–4: Planned backend architecture and gamification logic
Week 5–6: Built quiz engine, frontend UI, and CMS tools
Week 7: Ran internal testing, collected feedback from teachers
Week 8+: Final polish, deployment, and content seeding
Weekly syncs with the founder helped keep everything rooted in authentic sources and age-appropriate design.

The Result
15+ minute average session time
70% trail completion rate
10,000+ early signups from schools and youth orgs
100% free and open to everyone—always
What We Learned
One line from the founder stuck with us:
“We wanted kids to love learning the Seerah—not because they had to, but because they wanted to.”
This reminded us: meaningful topics deserve creative experiences. When done right, faith-based learning can be just as immersive and joyful as any game.
